Opening Ceremony
Everyone is encouraged to participate in the Opening Ceremony regardless of if they are participating in the Office Olympics. Costumes and high levels of spirit are encouraged!
Event Rules
All sections are encouraged to enter at least one team. Sections may enter more than one team! Sections may combine with each other, as needed.
Teams should be comprised of four members and must include at least one Local Staff + at least one of the following: USDH, PSC, TDY, or EFM. The other two members can be any combination of U.S. Embassy employees.
Teams will select one team member to compete in each of the individual events. Team members may only compete in one individual event each. Each team member must participate in one individual event. No make-ups for event no-shows.
Event #5 will be a team event that the entire team does together. If one of your team members cannot attend Event 5, your team will do the event without them. No substitutions on Event 5.
Teams are encouraged to create a team name and costumes/uniforms, but those are not mandatory.
Deadlines
Team Registration - Please send your team’s name along with the names of the team members and the individual event each team member will be participating in by COB on Monday, July 29th.
Opening Ceremony Participants – Email CLO to let us know if your team (and/or section) plans to participate in the Opening Ceremony Parade by COB on Monday, July 29th.
Changes to Team Rosters – Thursday, August 8th,10:00am
